Process Manager Liveability and Area Oriented Work

As a process manager for liveability and area-oriented work, you will concretely implement liveability measures from a social agenda and develop neighbourhood agendas. You play a central role in strengthening liveability in the villages of an organization. This is a new position, offering scope to pioneer, provide direction, and build together.

What you do

  • Set up and guide a liveability discussion table.
  • Collaborate with residents and organizations on plans to support the community and encourage encounters.
  • Advise on the deployment of resources for liveability measures.
  • Actively ensure connection with residents, organizations, and advisory councils.
  • Forward proposals prepared at the liveability discussion table to the executive board for formal decision-making.
  • Advise the board, management, and colleagues, with an eye for both administrative and social relations.
  • Bring coherence to complex, integral, and cross-domain issues.
  • Support the liveability discussion table in making choices that have a visible impact.
  • Further shape area-oriented work within the organization using neighbourhood agendas.
  • Translate the ambition to offer residents space to participate in thinking and doing in their neighbourhood into a clear vision and concrete approach.
  • Explore the possibilities of neighbourhood agendas, identify opportunities and points of attention, and make proposals for implementation.
  • Scope to take on other activities and add extra value.

What they ask

  • Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience with process guidance in an administrative, social, or municipal context.
  • Demonstrable work experience working with residents, organizations, and diverse interests (participation, co-creation, neighbourhood-oriented work, liveability, social domain).
  • Demonstrable work experience with advising management, board, or executive college.

Preferences.

  • Demonstrable work experience with process management, participation, liveability, area-oriented work, or comparable domains.
  • Demonstrable work experience with complex, integral issues and connecting different interests.
  • Demonstrable work experience with setting up and guiding consultation structures such as tables, working groups, and neighbourhood platforms.
  • Relevance of previous assignments for a small municipality with short lines of communication.
  • Written vision and approach on liveability and area-oriented work.
  • Clear vision on liveability, neighbourhood agendas, participation, and area-oriented work.
  • Insight into a social agenda and the role of a liveability discussion table.
  • Convincing approach for setting up, guiding, and further developing consultation structures.
  • Degree to which the candidate demonstrates the ability to lead and allow space for residents and partners.
