Contract Manager
Within a defense organization, the Senior Contract Manager role is performed within the Procurement and Contract Management (I&C) department, specifically in the Contract and Supplier Management (CLM) team. The team works with four assortments: Medical, Transport, Facility, and Personnel services and training. This role focuses on effectively and efficiently structuring contracts with commercial market parties, both for normal operations and in preparation for the readiness of the armed forces.
You will have the opportunity to further specialize as a contract manager.
What you will do.
- Manage, implement, set up, comply with, and optimally utilize contractual agreements with suppliers.
- Optimally support the entire defense organization through contracts.
- Act as a link between demanders and suppliers.
- Proactively evaluate collaborations and adjust where necessary.
- Advise the internal organization (solicited and unsolicited) to achieve the best results.
- Quickly form a clear picture of all stakeholders and their interests.
- Ensure the right balance between the content of the contract and the relationship with civilian contract partners and various internal stakeholders.
What they ask
- Minimum of a recognized HBO or university degree.
- Minimum of 7 years demonstrable experience as a contract or supplier manager.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrable experience with the MS Office suite, including MS Excel.
