Individual Caregiver with Guidance

An individual caregiver (Verzorgende IG) / primary responsible caregiver (EVV) is sought for one of the locations of a care organization. You will work with colleagues to create a safe, pleasant, and familiar living environment for residents. As an EVV, you will coordinate care for assigned residents and serve as their fixed point of contact, as well as for family and colleagues. The target group includes residents with psychiatric issues, addiction problems, and a mild intellectual disability (LVB).

There is room for customization and professional input to provide appropriate care that aligns with the individual situation of each resident.

What you will do.

  • Provide care, guidance, and support to residents in daily care.
  • Perform nursing technical actions, such as wound care, medication administration, and injections.
  • Observe and signal changes in residents' health status or behavior and respond adequately.
  • Draw up, implement, evaluate, and adjust care plans for assigned EVV residents.
  • Coordinate care and align with colleagues, therapists, family, and other involved disciplines.
  • Stimulate residents' self-reliance and support them in maintaining as much control over their own lives as possible.
  • Provide information and advice to residents and their relatives.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and pleasant living environment.
  • Provide extra attention to personal hygiene for residents who have neglected it for a long time.
  • Act professionally and de-escalate in cases of misunderstood or tense behavior.

What they ask

  • Diploma Individual Caregiver (MBO level 3).
  • Preferably, a completed EVV training.
  • Authorized and competent to perform nursing technical actions (BIG registration).
  • Good observation skills and ability to timely signal changes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with residents, family, and colleagues.
  • Ability to draw up care plans and coordinate care effectively.
  • In possession of a B driving license.
  • A Christian worldview and ability to explain what this means to you.

  • Enjoys working collaboratively but can also make independent decisions.

Practical

  • Salary according to the Social Work collective labor agreement - scale 6.
  • Leave: 144 statutory + 26 extra-statutory vacation hours (for full-time employment), vitality hours from age 30, and 9 weeks of 100% paid parental leave.
  • Travel allowance: kilometer allowance, bicycle plan, or NS-Business Card.
