Project Leader Warranty Works

You will work in a department responsible for provincial infrastructure, including roads, waterways, bridges, and locks. The department realizes and manages these facilities. Within this department, you will be responsible for proactively checking warranty agreements with contractors, especially for UAVGC contracts, and taking action on warranty issues. This position involves replacing a permanent employee and includes continuous core activities.

What you will do.

• Lead the warranty works project team, consisting of specialists and legal experts
• Maintain an overview of all warranties, including expiration dates and necessary actions
• Take initiative and manage ongoing warranty issues
• Independently carry out actions in actively ongoing warranty issues
• Be the point of contact and action holder for warranty issues
• Conduct discussions with external parties who must provide the warranty and make agreements on this

What they ask

• Completed HBO bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 10 years as a project leader at a government institution
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience with projects executed according to UAV-gc contracts
• Demonstrable work experience with the realization of road, bridge, tunnel, or reconstruction projects
• Agree to the stated secondment conditions

Preferences.

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 10 years with warranty works issues within infrastructural projects
• Demonstrable work experience with complex civil engineering projects involving multiple stakeholders, administrative interests, and different contracting parties
• Minimum 8 years of demonstrable work experience with the realization of road, bridge, tunnel, or reconstruction projects for a government institution
• Demonstrable work experience as a client, delegated client, or technical client within civil engineering infrastructure projects
