We are looking for an experienced Product Owner AI Tooling & Cloud who wants to set the course for two product areas that are rapidly developing: the Cloud Platform and AI/Tech & Tooling. In this versatile role, you will have the freedom to develop a vision, make sharp choices, and translate technology into solutions that help a public educational institution today and tomorrow.

What you do
- Develops and maintains a clear product vision and roadmap for both AI/Tech & Tooling and the Cloud Platform, in line with the strategy of the digitalization and information services department and an AI program.
- Manages and prioritizes product backlogs and determines which functionalities, tools, services, integrations, and improvements will be addressed and when, based on value, risk, dependencies, and feedback.
- Gathers and analyzes needs from teachers, researchers, students, staff, and services and translates these into clear epics, features, and user stories.
- Works closely with the multidisciplinary Cloud Platform team on PI and sprint planning, refinements, estimations, and dependency management.
- Coordinates the selection, evaluation, pilot phase, and phased implementation of AI tools, technological solutions, and cloud services for education, research, and operations.
- Ensures, together with IT, architecture, security, privacy, legal, and data governance, a secure, compliant, scalable, and coherent technology landscape with appropriate integrations.
- Anchors responsible and secure use of technology and AI by translating frameworks around privacy, security, compliance, ethics, and Responsible AI into concrete guidelines and solutions.
- Aligns with other Product Owners and teams on dependencies and actively contributes to the further development of the agile way of working and the Product Owner community.
- Monitors usage, quality, satisfaction, security, and impact of both products and continuously adjusts based on data, organizational signals, and technological developments.

- Experience as a Product Owner, project leader, or in a comparable role in a complex organization.
- Experience or affinity in a Cloud platform environment.
- Demonstrable affinity with AI, data, and digital technology and actively follows developments in this domain.
- Understands both the technical side (tools, integrations, architecture) and the organizational side (processes, governance, adoption) of digital solutions.
- Communicates convincingly and clearly.
- Dutch at a minimum C1 level.
- English at a minimum B2 level.
