What you will do. As a Mechanical Technician, you are responsible for preparing, executing, and coordinating mechanical maintenance on industrial installations within the midstream energy sector. You ensure that installations continue to operate reliably, safely, and efficiently. You will work with various mechanical systems such as compressors, pumps, and turbines within a dynamic production environment. Your activities will include:
- Preparing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Inspecting, overhauling, and replacing mechanical components
- Locating and resolving malfunctions in rotating equipment
- Guiding and directing external contractors
- Reporting completed work in the maintenance system
- Identifying improvement opportunities in the field of maintenance and reliability
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Contributing to a safe and tidy working environment
Profile
You are practical, work accurately, and have a strong safety awareness. In addition, you possess:
- A completed MBO 4 education in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Demonstrable experience with mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment
- Experience with rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors
- Knowledge of maintenance systems (e.g., a CMMS)
- Good command of the Dutch language
- Strong safety awareness
