- Greenfield project: modernizing and rebuilding a core system in the energy market.
- Developing software solutions crucial for a sustainable energy market.
- Translating complex issues into practical applications.
- Applying Event-Driven Architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
What you will do.
- Develop and test Java or Kotlin applications within a microservices architecture.
- Work with modern CI/CD processes and tools such as GitLab and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to the development of software crucial for the energy market.
- Work in a multidisciplinary DevOps team with developers, operations, and architects.
- Get room to learn, ask for feedback, and take initiative.
- Be involved in all phases of software development - from idea to delivery.
- Perform stand-by duties for critical applications.
What they ask
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Java and/or Kotlin development.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices.
- Knowledge of test automation and quality gates (e.g., contract testing, performance tests, and security scans).

Preferences.
- A completed HBO or WO degree in IT or a comparable beta domain.
- Experience with CI/CD (Gitlab), Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps (Argo CD) and cloud (AWS).
- Understanding of modern software architecture (Domain-Driven Design, API-Design & Event-Driven Architecture).
- Experience with Agile/SAFe.
- Experience in similar, complex IT environments.
