As a Production Support Employee, you report to the day shift leader and are part of the day shift of a production unit. You perform various logistical tasks to support production activities and the production process for specific materials.
What you do
- Unloading raw materials and intermediate products (delivered in tank trucks/trucks/wagons)
- Unloading packaging materials and other auxiliary materials
- Preparing raw materials and auxiliary materials such as granulate, colorants, and other additives in production installations (transport with forklift)
- Loading products (big bags) and waste (pallets, drums, …)
- Loading intermediate products and waste materials into tank trucks
- Collecting waste materials and preparing recyclable off-spec material for collection
- Keeping the raw materials and auxiliary materials warehouse in order and managing the container park
- Various environmentally oriented tasks in the wastewater system, including backwashing or exchanging activated carbon towers, taking wastewater samples, daily monitoring of the activated carbon park (loading, throughput..)
- Various environmentally oriented tasks in the exhaust gas system, including monitoring and/or exchanging activated carbon towers, monitoring resin incineration
- Production-supporting control activities and safety assignments (acting as a safety guard)
- Activities related to order and cleanliness (housekeeping)
- Maintaining forklifts (refilling batteries) and the company's bicycle fleet
- Preparation and follow-up of annual inspection for hoses, flexibles, and ladders.
- Various administrative support activities, including booking received raw materials, documentation of waste materials and activated carbon towers, registration of performed tasks
What they ask
- Minimum 3 years of work experience as a production employee
- Knowledge of a specific production unit is an advantage
- Acting safely and environmentally consciously is second nature
- Forklift driving license and experience with loading/unloading trucks is a plus
- Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus
