As a tactical ICT procurement advisor, you are the connecting link between Procurement and the I&A team. With your knowledge of the ICT market and the Public Procurement Act, you translate complex issues into smart procurement strategies.
What you will do. Within the Information & Automation (I&A) domain, you play a key role. Whether it concerns the acquisition of software, the purchase of hardware, or the contracting of complex ICT services: you bring the necessary structure, market knowledge, and sharpness. Within the I&A team, you are the permanent sparring partner who translates procurement frameworks into feasible and market-oriented solutions.
You relieve content experts, proactively advise on the best tendering strategy, and maintain the balance between legality and organizational interest.
- Prepare and execute (European and multiple private) procurement and tendering processes for the complete ICT portfolio.
- Advise the I&A organization on procurement frameworks, the formulation of the request, and minimizing breakdown risks.
- Collaborate and coordinate with public procurement lawyers, contract managers, and market parties for a qualitative and legally secured result.
What they ask
- Minimum HBO or university level of work and thinking, supplemented with a NEVI 1 diploma (or equivalent).
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a (tactical) buyer within public administration, including demonstrable experience with European and multiple private ICT tenders.
- Thorough knowledge of the Public Procurement Act, European regulations, and the dynamics of the ICT/IV market.
