Production Engineer Avionics

You contribute to peace and security within a government organization. You work in a team of military personnel, reservists, and civilian employees.

What you will do.

• Prepare and execute maintenance and modifications to specific aviation systems.
• Work closely with the industry and the government organization to ensure all work is carried out according to the correct rules and documentation.
• Prepare technical work preparations based on current technical documentation.
• Create a material plan and enter tasks into an ERP system.
• Focus on major maintenance of specific aviation systems, particularly the onboard electronic systems (avionics).
• Provide technical support to a squadron.
• Assist in solving technical problems.
• Guide mechanics during maintenance.
• Ensure that all regulations and guidelines remain current and adapt them when necessary.
• Monitor the progress of the order package.
• Develop work methods and reports by:
• Setting priorities regarding technical and logistical processes.
• Preparing supporting activities for the production process.
• Monitoring the progress of processes.
• Monitoring lead times.
• Informing the client about progress and order-related issues.
• Collecting production data on workload, personnel capacity, and deployment of resources.

What they ask

• MBO-4 diploma in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering or electronics.
• Experience in aircraft/helicopter maintenance.
• Willingness to follow training courses such as Part-66 and SAP.
• Good oral and written command of Dutch and English.
• Good collaboration skills, stress resistance, and a high degree of responsibility.
