Webinar and Partnerships Specialist

North HollandHybrid10 hours/week>12months

Webinars are a key point of contact for sustainability teams. The organization aims to increase the number of webinars from one to four per month. You will be responsible for the topics, speakers, partners, and live sessions. You will secure the right people on stage, make every session valuable, and ensure quality. The organization specializes in matching in-house sustainability teams with senior freelance experts on topics such as EcoVadis, CSRD, CDP, Scope 3, SBTi, LCA, EUDR, and CBAM.

Its network includes over 300 curated experts. Clients are typically small teams handling more sustainability work than they can manage, at companies across the EU, UK, US, and Japan. Webinars provide direct answers from experts and serve as a starting point for valuable conversations. Webinars are hosted by an organization's founder and feature an expert from its network, ideally alongside a client or prospect who has experienced the problem themselves.

Sessions include educational presentations, panel discussions without slides, and a lighter format: a 30-minute expert clinic. Broad topics are preferred over very niche ones.

What you do

  • Roadmap: You choose the topic, niche, and format, and explain your rationale. The outline is set three to five weeks in advance and signed off by a manager.
  • Speakers: You find, vet, and prepare speakers. You assess their substance and on-camera presence, and run prep calls.
  • Speaker promotion: Every speaker receives a ready-made post, DM text, and their own registration link. You ensure they use them.
  • Quality control: You check the webinar setup, event and lists, landing and thank-you pages, email sequence, and visual assets. Emails are approved by a manager.
  • LinkedIn: You create the LinkedIn Event and send invitations.
  • Attendance: You collect questions from registrants in advance and arrange a bonus for live attendees.
  • The day itself: A run-through with panelists, a tech check, and during the live session, you manage Zoom and polls while a manager hosts. Over time, you can take on part of the hosting.
  • Wrap-up: You thank the speakers and verify that the outcome page, follow-up lists, and recording emails are completed, and that relevant colleagues have their follow-up lists.
  • Lead magnet: An agent drafts a resource from the transcript; you get the expert to review it.

Partnerships.

  • Co-hosts: You bring in partners who serve the same clients without competing with the organization, such as software vendors and industry associations.
  • Co-host logistics: You coordinate who emails which list, when, and with which link.
  • Speaker pipeline: You maintain a full speaker pipeline (around 48 speakers a year) by drawing on clients, new freelancers, and your own network.

Practical

  • Weekly: You review the automated weekly overview (registrations, show-up rate, attendees, meetings from webinars) and flag anything unusual to a manager.
  • Error detection: You spot gaps or errors in the output produced by agents and ensure they are fixed.
  • Blog posts: You check blog posts from an SEO partner against a checklist (answer-first, FAQ schema, internal link, CTA) when an agent flags one as doubtful.
  • Monthly: You align with the web developer on forms and SEO fixes, check in with the SEO partner, and plan the next month's sessions, speakers, and partners.
  • Occasionally: You ask finished clients for Google reviews and case studies, and assist experts with requests related to webinars and content.

What they ask

  • At least 4 years of experience organizing and hosting B2B webinars, from topic selection to follow-up.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability and ESG (CSRD, SBTi, EcoVadis) to vet speakers and engage with experts as a peer.
  • Knowledge of the market and its key players. You know who is a good speaker and can secure their participation.
  • Experience building partnerships with organizations that serve the same audience.
  • Ability to think in roadmaps: which topic, for which niche, when, and why.
  • A proactive "give it to me" attitude. You take the entire webinar process off the team's plate.
  • Enjoy working with AI tools and critically review their output.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • Lives in or near the organization's location.

Nice to have.

  • Your own network of sustainability speakers.
  • Experience with HubSpot and Zoom Webinars.
  • Experience building a community.

Tools.

  • HubSpot, Notion, Zoom, WordPress (with Forminator and Zapier), Canva, Slack, LinkedIn, and Claude.
