Energy Transition Advisor

A government organization is working on a future-proof energy system.

• Grid congestion, the growth of sustainable energy generation, electrification of mobility, sustainability of social real estate, and housing construction require a coherent approach.
• The organization is looking for an independent advisor who will deliver analyses, action perspectives, and concrete implementation proposals for a number of defined topics.
• You will work within a team focused on Spatial Policy, with a focus on Energy Transition.
• This is a results-oriented product assignment, where the contractor independently organizes the activities and is assessed on the timely delivery and quality of the agreed products.
• The contractor independently determines the approach, planning, and method of execution within the agreed frameworks.
• Coordination with employees and external parties takes place for information gathering, coherence, and verification.
• The assignment does not concern a structural position, line responsibility, or deployment under daily supervision.
• Assessment is based on the agreed products, milestones, and acceptance criteria.

What you will do.

• Exploration and elaboration of an energy hub for a new development, including a parking hub used by residents, office employees, and for charging municipal vehicles.
• Designing a workable process to make the need for grid connections visible earlier in the planning and development process of new construction projects and to discuss this with the grid operator in a timely manner.
• Investigating the consequences of the findings and scenarios from a research agency for the organization's energy system.
• Delivering written advice for decision-making in the management team or the executive board for all mentioned products.
