A municipal collaboration aims to structurally leverage the power of data and work with data in a more structured way. The focus is on implementing a data foundation and data management. After the technical implementation of the data foundation, expected to be ready by the end of this year, the actual implementation and adoption within the organizations will begin. Furthermore, the central question is how the available data remains suitable for its intended purpose and how this can be ensured long-term.
The client is looking for a business project manager to guide this transition.
What you will do.
- Implement data management within the organizations based on a defined scope document.
- Implement and further develop work processes related to data-driven operations, including compliance.
- Act as Quartermaster ProductOwner for the data foundation.
- Lead and prioritize the development team.
- Lead and prioritize the migration of information products.
- Coordinate training programs for data teams and align with the supplier and HR managers.
- Be the first point of contact for the technical project leader.
- Coordinate and prioritize activities within the project.
- Advise the steering committee on necessary actions and potential adjustments.
- Monitor, report, and advise on GROKIT aspects.
- Communicate with stakeholders.
What they ask
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO (higher professional education) level.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a project manager.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in a role at the intersection of IT/IV and the organization.
- Demonstrable knowledge of multiple project management methodologies (e.g., Prince II, IPMA, Scrum).
Preferences.
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO level in (technical) business administration, business informatics, or public administration.
- Demonstrable work experience with implementing data-driven operations and/or data management in an organization and/or other large innovative projects or programs.
- Demonstrable knowledge of an agile methodology (e.g., Scrum).
- Demonstrable knowledge of or experience with change management (methodologies).
- Demonstrable experience with continuous improvement of methods and working practices.
