What you will do. You will actively contribute to the development, updating, and implementation of local housing policy. You will play an important role in identifying developments in the housing market, translating these developments into policy, and supporting administrative decision-making.
- Monitor developments within the local, regional, and national housing market and translate these into policy proposals and advice.
- Support the development and updating of the Housing Program, the regional housing and care vision, and other policy products.
- Draft policy notes, executive board proposals, council information letters, and administrative advice.
- Advise the executive board, management, and colleagues on housing-related issues.
- Respond to administrative questions from the executive board and municipal council.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve policy objectives.
- Actively contribute to knowledge sharing, integrated collaboration, and the further development of the housing policy field within the organization.
Profile
You will work for a team focused on integrated tasks in the areas of housing, care, education, work, and income. Within the team, you will collaborate closely with policy advisors, project leaders, and colleagues from other disciplines. Additionally, you will maintain contacts with regional municipalities and other external partners. The activities will be carried out within the policy frameworks, administrative priorities, and decision-making processes of the organization.
You will regularly coordinate with colleagues, the senior policy advisor, and the team manager regarding progress, substantive issues, and administrative decision-making.

- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a policy officer, policy advisor, or policy developer.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience as a policy advisor within a public sector organization.
- Demonstrable work experience with at least 2 of the following topics: housing vision, housing construction programming, public housing, housing and care vision, housing for vulnerable groups, or migrant worker policy.
- Demonstrable work experience in drafting executive board proposals, administrative advice, or policy notes for the executive board and management.
Preferences.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 8 years as a policy officer, policy advisor, or policy developer in the field of housing and/or public housing.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in drafting executive board proposals, administrative advice, or policy notes for the executive board and management within a municipal institution.
- Demonstrable work experience with at least 4 of the following topics: housing vision, housing construction programming, public housing, housing and care vision, housing for vulnerable groups, or migrant worker policy.
- A demonstrable completed university bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrable work experience with housing market analyses, housing needs surveys, or data-driven policy analyses.
