The organization is recognized as a psychiatric hospital and a psychiatric nursing home across multiple campuses. In addition to hospital and residential functions, care is also offered through various mobile teams in the home context. People with psychological vulnerability can visit a meeting and activity center.

What you will do. Within the financial and administrative department of the healthcare organization, you will combine operational accounting tasks with the budgeting of challenging care and infrastructure projects. You will actively participate in optimization and digitalization projects that further shape the financial processes. With an eye for detail and an affinity for data, you will ensure that the correct information is available for analyses and decision-making.
You will make an essential contribution to the financial health of the organization.
- You collect and process data from management and managers and ensure correct and reliable data.
- You support the preparation of budgets and annual accounts, including hospital financing, VIPA subsidies, BFM, and partnerships within mental health care.
- You are responsible for or contribute to various reports and analyses, including financial reports, (care) activity reports, monitoring of budgets and investments, and financial risk analyses.
- You contribute to projects concerning efficiency, digitalization, and optimization of financial processes.
- You form the bridge with the Data cell for the development and maintenance of financial dashboards.
Profile
- You have obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting or a master's degree in a financial-economic field; experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- You have a solid foundation in Belgian accounting and VAT regulations.
- You are familiar with Excel, databases, data modeling in a data warehouse system, BI tools, data analysis, and reporting. Experience with Power BI is a plus.
- You are analytical, enterprising, and take initiative.
- You recognize yourself in values such as collaboration, respect, and social added value.
- You work accurately but also think out-of-the-box.
- You are eager to learn and willing to deepen your knowledge of financial regulations and data techniques.
