As a Solution Architect, you will work within the IT department of a logistics player, consisting of approximately 30 colleagues, divided into 3 teams: IT Infrastructure/Operations, Security, and IT Solutions. Within the IT Solutions team, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, testing, and releasing solutions within various projects.
What you do
- Gather and understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications for IT.
- Analyze interdependencies of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create functional solution designs and conceptual/logical models.
- Define acceptance criteria together with business stakeholders.
- Guide projects from conceptualization to implementation.
- Prepare, execute, and report on test scripts.
- Support stakeholders during their testing phase, analyze reported problems, and identify bugs and change requests.
- Identify user needs and propose improvements.
- Contribute to thinking about the future application landscape and understand the need for standardization.
What they ask
- Strong expertise in requirements engineering, functional analysis, business analysis, and project management.
- Efficient communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role in the supply chain sector.
- Affinity with the technical side of processes and ability to communicate with both developers and the business.
- Experience with modeling and associated tools.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment (Scrum Master / Product Owner certification is a big plus).
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of English.
