Quality begins even before a product reaches the store. As a Quality I&PD Assistant, you assess and validate private label products, ensuring they meet applicable quality, food safety, and legal requirements. You are part of an Innovation & Product Development team and monitor products within the daily workflow. Only when everything meets the requirements can they be passed on to the specification team.
What you do
- Evaluates and validates new and modified private label products.
- Controls, among other things, food safety, packaging, recipes, legal conformity, and supplier certificates.
- Ensures that products comply with applicable legislation and internal quality standards.
- Assesses potential risks and identifies deviations or missing information.
- Analyzes test and tasting results and formulates recommendations where necessary.
- Processes products within the daily workflow and coordinates with involved internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports ad-hoc questions and urgent matters within the quality department.
Profile
- Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in food, chemistry, or another scientific field.
- Has at least 1 year of relevant experience in Quality, product development, or a similar environment.
- Has knowledge of food safety, quality standards, and relevant legislation.
- Experience with Trace One is a requirement.
- Works analytically and accurately, with an eye for detail.
- Can communicate findings clearly and collaborates smoothly with various stakeholders.
- Is proficient in Dutch and English.
