As a Youth Protector, you take charge of mandatory assistance within families. You contribute to the well-being of young people and families, with an eye for a good work-life balance. The challenge of the work lies in complex issues and hectic situations, such as families who are distrustful or cause nuisance. You remain focused on the safety and development of the child and the overall family situation.
What you will do.
- Take charge of mandatory assistance within a family
- Organize, call
- Determine the care need
- Write advisory reports
- Coordinate with families, chain partners, and a child protection council
- Develop an action plan with formal and informal advisors to improve the family situation
- Handle cases independently, with support from behavioral scientists, colleagues, and a team leader
- Participate weekly in case discussions on difficult cases
Profile
- A completed HBO education (Bachelor)
- An SKJ registration or the possibility to obtain it in the short term
- In possession of a driving license and a car for ambulatory activities and the team location
- You are a Christian (Protestant / Catholic, etc.) and can explain what this means to you
