As a Project Nurse Geriatrics, you support the further development of geriatric care pathways and quality initiatives. You combine clinical expertise with project-based work and actively contribute to the optimization of care processes.
What you do
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality and improvement projects within geriatric care.
- Support care teams in change and improvement processes.
- Analyze processes and formulate improvement proposals based on data and quality indicators.
- Coordinate projects related to patient safety, fall prevention, delirium care, malnutrition, and other geriatric themes.
- Act as a point of contact for geriatric expertise within multidisciplinary working groups.
- Organize and provide training and awareness campaigns for employees.
- Actively participate in internal and external consultation moments.
- Monitor relevant laws and regulations and translate them into practice.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, paramedics, and support services to ensure quality care.
Profile
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a graduated/HBO5 Nursing diploma supplemented with relevant experience.
- Experience in geriatrics is a strong asset.
- A special professional title or special professional competence in geriatrics is an added value.
- You are interested in quality care, project work, and process optimization.
- You work structured and maintain an overview of various projects simultaneously.
- You possess strong communication skills and know how to involve colleagues in changes.
- You are analytically minded and solution-oriented.
- You work independently, but also feel strong within a multidisciplinary team.
- You can work smoothly with digital applications and reporting tools.
