For a challenging IT project within a large organization.
- You will contribute to the development and integration of modern, scalable backend solutions.
- You will join an Agile environment.
What you do
- Develop and maintain serverless applications using Azure Functions and Azure Container Apps.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
- Manage sensitive information using Azure Key Vault.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval with Cosmos DB and Redis Cache.
- Integrate with external systems via SOAP services and manage authentication with OAuth.
- Write unit tests and apply TDD to ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within an Agile environment.
- Understand technical architecture and reuse existing technical components.
- Perform technical analyses of received functional assignments.
- Document developed software.
- Provide third-line support.
- Support analysts/designers in translating functional specifications into technical solutions.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles (e.g., TerraForm).
Profile
- Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience in software development and services design.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in IT integration.
- Strong focus on clients and brokers.
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
- Broad IT knowledge and interest; familiar with concepts such as SOA, WebServices, unit testing, inheritance, and stored procedures.
- Eye for quality and proactive in optimizing development processes.
- Experience with Microsoft.NET technology, including Azure and C#.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Experience with developing SOAP and REST services within a Microsoft.NET environment.
- Knowledge of underlying technologies such as XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, JSON, and REST.
- Experience with hosting WebServices and web applications in Azure Functions.
- Experience with analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of custom object-oriented applications.
- Experience with designing relational database models and working with Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, and Table Storage.
- Experience with task management via Azure DevOps.
- Experience with source control via Azure DevOps.
- Azure certification (e.g., AZ-204 - Azure Developer Associate).
- Experience within large corporate environments is a plus.
- Insight into structured processes and complex decision-making structures is a plus.
- Experience with non-life insurance (underwriting and claims within mobility) is a plus.
- Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Willingness to work with AI is a plus.
- Certifications AZ-900 - Azure Fundamentals and AZ-204 - Azure Developer Associate are a plus.
