As a Planner at the planning department of a healthcare organization, you ensure that schedules are correct, so that colleagues on the work floor know what to expect and clients are assured of good care. This requires continuous innovation in care provision, technology use, and collaboration. You contribute to this development, whether you work directly with clients or strengthen the organization from within.
What you do
As a planner, you are responsible for the service schedules at the locations of the healthcare organization. You translate the basic schedule into a workable plan and ensure that disruptions are quickly resolved, so that care continues smoothly.
- You create service schedules based on the basic schedule and submit them for approval to the manager
- You are the first point of contact for colleagues with questions about their schedule and resolve planning bottlenecks
- You process schedules and mutations in a planning system and keep track of employee availability
- You check registered hours against the planning and report capacity problems to your manager in a timely manner
- You guide new colleagues and trainees in the use of the scheduling system and actively participate in team discussions
Profile
- You have at least an MBO-4 level education and at least three years of experience. Experience (partially) gained in the healthcare sector is a plus
- You are accurate when it comes to planning puzzles
- You communicate easily and openly with all stakeholders
- You feel responsible for delivering quality and are stress-resistant
