An educational institution is looking for an Intelligence instructor in the field of analysis to contribute to the professional development of professionals.
What you do
- Participate in the execution, continuous development, and implementation of education within the field of analysis
- Actively contribute to competency-based education in training programs for operational specialists deployed as tactical and operational (case) analysts
- Train students to become proficient (case) analysts
- Provide and develop education
- Administer exams as an examiner
- Coordinate the (further) development, realization, and implementation of new educational programs and packages
- Inventory training needs of organizational units and translate these needs into educational programs and packages within established frameworks
- Monitor the coherence of educational programs
- Evaluate results and advise on the effectiveness of the training
- Translate identified improvements from a didactic perspective into new educational methods/course packages and new teaching materials, taking into account different target groups
- As a mentor, promote and assess the professionalism of colleagues

- Experienced (case) analyst, analytical, and capable of thinking 'outside the box' and associatively
- Persistent in the search for necessary knowledge or information
- Creative and resourceful
- Able to connect the analysis process with the overall intelligence process
- Aware of NIA themes and can translate these into education
- Proactive and a development-oriented, sharp colleague
- Good communication and social skills
- Keeps knowledge and skills up to date and incorporates new knowledge and skills (e.g., in the field of new tools for information provision)
- Broad societal orientation is a must within the Intelligence domain
What they ask
- HBO (bachelor) working and thinking level, preferably a degree in case or security analysis
- Preferably experience in performing tactical and operational case or security analysis
- Preferably experience in providing education and/or training
- The Pedagogical Didactic Certificate (PDG)/Basic Teaching Qualification (BKO) or the willingness to obtain it
