A large financial organization is modernizing its network landscape. You will act as a bridge between network engineering and security governance. You play a central role in defining, maintaining, and continuously improving network security controls. You ensure that network platforms and services comply with internal standards, regulations, and security best practices. This involves coordinating audits, documenting security guidelines, and embedding security measures into operational processes.
You will work in a critical 24x7 environment with a direct impact on thousands of developers and platform teams.
What you do
- Maintain and improve network security standards and templates for network platforms
- Define and document network security guidelines and control documentation
- Coordinate network audits with audit teams and internal stakeholders
- Track and report on addressing audit findings and risk management
- Implement security best practices for engineering and operations teams
- Conduct operational network security governance meetings and ensure alignment
- Guide engineering teams in creating and maintaining service issues and risks
- Ensure network security controls are well embedded in service lifecycles and processes
