Youth Quality Advisor

As a Youth Quality Advisor, you ensure that residents receive the right support, at the right time, and with the right quality. You are the connecting link between policy and implementation and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.

Responsibilities.

• You are a (knowledge) expert in the field of the Youth Act and ensure professional development within the team, for example through quality coaching.
• You identify bottlenecks in practice, municipal policy, procedures, work instructions, and/or employee knowledge levels and propose solution-oriented suggestions.
• You prepare and guide the implementation of new policies, laws, and regulations.
• If necessary, you adapt or draw up existing work instructions.
• Through sampling, you check whether changes are being applied correctly.
• You analyze cases, processes, and customer journeys; you translate these into concrete improvement advice.
• You perform internal controls and audits (on effectiveness and legality) and report on results and improvement opportunities.
• You support consultants in complex cases and act as a sparring partner.
• You contribute ideas when a customized provision is needed, focusing on quality and costs.
• You develop and maintain work processes, quality instruments, and assessment frameworks.
• You work closely with (regional) colleagues from policy, implementation, purchasing, and contract management.
• You closely follow national developments and translate them into the local situation.

What they ask

• 1 to 5 years of work experience with a governmental organization.
• Obligated to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
• Recent experience as a quality advisor within a governmental organization (specifically youth).
• Broad and up-to-date knowledge of the Youth Act and related legislation such as the Appropriate Education Act.
• Experience with quality improvement and process optimization, preferably within youth care or a governmental organization.
• Knowledge of the processes in youth back-office and message traffic.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role as Quality Advisor.

Preferences.

• Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably supplemented with courses in quality assurance and assessment.
• Experience in conducting sample checks in the context of legality.
