Community and Events

North HollandHybrid10 hours/week>12months

The assignment focuses on scaling webinars from one to four a month for a platform that matches sustainability teams with freelance experts.

  • You will own the topics, speakers, partners, and live sessions.
  • The goal is to get the right people on stage and make every session worth showing up for.
  • The platform's clients are small sustainability teams in companies across the EU, UK, US, and Japan.
  • Webinars provide straight answers from experts and serve as a starting point for conversations.
  • Sessions include educational presentations, panels, and 30-minute expert clinics.

What you do

  • Roadmap: Choose the topic, niche, and format, and explain why. Outline goes into Notion 3-5 weeks ahead.
  • Speakers: Find, vet, and prepare speakers on substance and camera presence; run prep calls.
  • Speaker promotion: Ensure speakers use ready-made posts, DM texts, and registration links.
  • Quality control: Check webinar setup (Zoom, HubSpot, landing pages, email sequences, visuals).
  • LinkedIn: Create LinkedIn Events and send invitations.
  • Attendance: Collect questions from registrants in advance and line up a bonus for live attendees.
  • The day itself: Conduct a run-through and tech check; manage Zoom and polls during the live session (potential to co-host).
  • Wrap-up: Thank speakers and check that the outcome page, follow-up lists, and recording emails are handled.
  • Lead magnet: Get an expert to review a resource drafted from the transcript.
  • Weekly: Review automated Notion overview and flag anything unusual; spot gaps or errors in agent output and get them fixed; check blog posts from the SEO partner.
  • Monthly: Align with the web developer on forms and SEO fixes; check in with the SEO partner; plan the next month's sessions, speakers, and partners.
  • Ad-hoc: Ask finished clients for Google reviews and case studies; help experts with requests around webinars and content.

Partnerships.

  • Co-hosts: Bring in partners who serve the same clients without competing, such as software vendors and industry associations.
  • Co-host logistics: Coordinate who emails which list, when, and with which link.
  • Speaker pipeline: Maintain a full speaker pipeline (around 48 per year) using clients, new freelancers, and your own network.

What they ask

  • At least 4 years of experience in organizing and hosting B2B webinars, from topic to follow-up.
  • Good knowledge of sustainability and ESG (CSRD, SBTi, EcoVadis) to vet a speaker and talk to experts as a peer.
  • Knowledge of the market and the people in it; knowing who is a good speaker and being able to get a 'yes' from them.
  • Built partnerships with organizations that serve the same audience.
  • Think in roadmaps: which topic, for which niche, when, and why.
  • Have a "give it to me" attitude; take the whole webinar process off the team's plate.
  • Enjoy working with AI agents and checking their output with a critical eye.
  • Speak fluent English and Dutch.
  • Live in or near Amsterdam.

Nice-to-haves.

  • Your own network of sustainability speakers.
  • Experience with HubSpot and Zoom Webinars.
