An executive organization of a ministry is looking for a Project Leader / Electrical Engineering Advisor with experience in the maintenance and renovation of wet infrastructure. You will contribute to a safe, livable, and accessible Netherlands. The team implements renovation, replacement, and bridging measures (life extension) for the main water system and main waterway network within a specific region. The team works on projects in the field of wet infrastructure.
What you will do.
- Ensure that frameworks regarding design, effects, or technology are applied in the project.
- Translate frameworks into the project and draw up project specifications.
- Review products delivered by the contractor against the contract and agreed arrangements.
- Record results in reports and assess delivery and handover files.
- Identify risks and deviations and contribute to appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate tasks and assignments in consultation within the project team and with the contractor.
- Ensure safety, in consultation with technical advisors, prior to maintenance work to be carried out.
- Discuss with the manager and the contractor about the execution of maintenance and bridging work and related costs.
- Advise on and apply frameworks and guidelines as intended.
- Specify requirements for processes/products related to asset management.
- Assess products from contractors.
- Implement the Verification & Validation (V&V) process.
- Provide electrical engineering input and guidance on sub-projects, in coordination with other team members and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the improvement of frameworks, working methods, and standards of the technical work process.
- Contribute to the further professionalization of the field by being alert to new developments, contributing to policy development, and actively sharing knowledge.

What they ask
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience with maintenance consultancy in the field of electrical engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience with maintenance consultancy in the field of fixed and dynamic objects (bridges, locks, and weirs).
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the role of project leader / advisor for maintenance and revision projects.
- VCA VOL certificate and GPI certificate, or willing to obtain them within 2 months after the start of the assignment.
Wishes.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with maintenance inspections and bringing asset data up to date for dynamic objects (large wet civil engineering structures).
- Knowledge of and experience with the implementation of contract changes related to the technical discipline.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the design of (drive lines of) pumps, medium and high voltage.
