What you do
- Maintain and troubleshoot the existing Docker and Docker Swarm platform, including deployments already in use by users.
- Design, build and operate the Kubernetes platform, and lead the migration from Docker Swarm.
- Automate platform, deployment and operational processes as code, and maintain and improve CI/CD workflows.
- Apply security hardening and compliance requirements, and support secure deployments across connected and restricted environments.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, containers and infrastructure.
- Work closely with development, architecture and infrastructure colleagues to improve reliability, scalability and performance, and enable teams to use and maintain the platform effectively.
What they ask
- Have set up Kubernetes clusters from scratch, not only worked on an existing cluster.
- Have the depth to operate Kubernetes and troubleshoot issues, including cluster networking (CNI, DNS, ingress).
- Have strong Linux experience.
- Be able to support and troubleshoot Docker and Docker Swarm from day one.
- Have experience with GitOps, CI/CD and infrastructure automation (e.g. Argo CD, Jenkins, Ansible).
- Have experience in highly regulated or security-critical environments.
- Work well across teams and communicate solutions clearly.
