Continuous Service Technician

As a continuous service technician, you ensure that patients can stay in a comfortable, well-maintained, and safe hospital. You are an indispensable multidisciplinary technician who quickly resolves malfunctions, guarantees safety, and keeps the healthcare organization running 24/7. You work in a three-shift system and resolve all first-line technical malfunctions. The consequences of malfunctions can be directly noticeable for patients and healthcare providers, so your work truly makes a difference.

You work independently but are part of an experienced and collegial team of fifteen technicians. Together, you ensure the continuity of patient care.

What you will do.

• Quickly and professionally resolve malfunctions: troubleshoot malfunctions in installations and technical systems and prevent consequential damage.
• Actively monitor safety: identify risks early and ensure that patients and colleagues can stay and work safely.
• Inspect and maintain installations: perform checks and maintenance to prevent malfunctions and keep systems in good condition.
• Take emergency measures during calamities: intervene immediately in calamities, from leaks to acute system failures, to ensure safety and stabilize installations.
• Responsibly register work processes: meticulously record activities, provide clear feedback to stakeholders, and check work permits.

What they ask

• Minimum MBO-4 diploma in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, installation technology, or marine engineering).
• Relevant technical work experience, for example, in installation technology, industry, or marine technology.
• Basic knowledge of building-related installations and fault analysis.
• Stress-resistant, decisive, and enjoys working independently, including during night and weekend shifts.
• Works safely and with technical insight.
• Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.
• Eager to learn and willing to develop further.
