Creating schedules for teams and services within a government organization is a complex task that contributes to safety and operational readiness. This role is essential for ensuring operational capacity.

What you will do.

  • You will compile schedules for teams and support services, taking into account strict deadlines (every four weeks).
  • You will consider irregular shifts and the 24/7 nature of the organization.
  • You will continuously liaise with various teams and departments to translate activities into planning.
  • You will anticipate unforeseen circumstances such as absenteeism and adhere to national legislation and internal agreements.
  • You will arrange ad-hoc planning for incidents or special deployments, such as the Mobile Unit or training sessions.
  • You will advise, inform, and support colleagues responsible for capacity management to improve the overall planning and management process.
  • You will work closely with other planners within the unit and nationally.

Profile

  • You communicate clearly about your work and the choices you make.
  • You work diligently and proactively when preparing schedules.
  • You easily retrieve information from various scheduling systems.
  • You can respond well to changes and quickly switch between tasks.
  • You are happy to provide colleagues with tips in line with national agreements and processes.
  • MBO 3 (intermediate vocational education) work and thinking level.
  • Preferably, experience as a personnel planner.
  • Knowledge of ICT systems or willingness to quickly acquire this knowledge.

Practical

  • The position involves a temporary appointment for a probationary period of one year, with the prospect of a permanent appointment.
  • Selection interviews will take place on October 19 and 21.
  • A reliability investigation is part of the selection procedure.
  • Diversity is of great importance to the organization.
