You will work within a transcultural team that provides outpatient treatment to refugees, such as asylum seekers, undocumented refugees, and Ukrainian displaced persons.
- The team is multidisciplinary, consisting of psychiatrists, healthcare psychologists, outpatient nurses, doctors, and basic psychologists.
- There is room to contribute to the care vision and treatment offerings, as the team is developing.
- The approach is culturally sensitive and based on evidence-based treatment methods, utilizing cultural interviews and professional interpreters.
What you do
- You conduct intakes, psychodiagnostic research, and consultations.
- You coordinate and perform individual treatments, focusing on anxiety and mood disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders.
- You may take on group treatments in the future.
- You collaborate with the client's system and with chain partners such as reception centers and social organizations.
What they ask
- Successfully completed training as a Healthcare Psychologist.
- BIG registered and in possession of an AGB code.
- Interest in other cultures and affinity with the target group.
- Resilient, flexible, and able to think outside the box.
- Proficient in treating PTSD (experience with trauma-focused treatment methods is recommended, training is an option).
- A team player who enjoys contributing to the development of the vision and care offerings.
