This position is with a chemical company, a private company experiencing continuous growth and currently ranking among the top industrial chemical companies globally. The European division includes several production sites covering the production of Linear Alpha Olefins and Polyalphaolefins. The Olefins produced are used in the manufacturing of plastic materials, synthetic oils, and polymerization catalysts, and are marketed worldwide.
What you do
- Perform on-site and workshop tasks such as reconditioning valves, pumps, and compressors.
- Assembly and disassembly of piping.
- Pump and valve alignment.
What they ask
- Solid foundation in industrial mechanics (Petrochemicals).
- Experience in reading mechanical plans.
- Ability to take measurements.
- Knowledge of mechanical seals.
- Experience with machine tools is a plus.
- Experience in rigging and lifting loads.
Profile
- Graduated in (electro)-mechanics or A2 in electromechanics with several years of experience.
- Exemplary and demanding regarding safety, respecting current rules and procedures.
- Enjoys teamwork.
- Good analytical and control skills.
- Rigorous, dynamic, and autonomous.
- Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, SAP).
- Does not suffer from vertigo or claustrophobia.
