It aims to help beneficiaries achieve maximum autonomy, taking into account each individual's personal situation.
What you do
- Ensure the analysis and processing of social assistance requests, taking into account the legal framework and internal guidelines.
- Provide correct and quality information to individuals seeking assistance and reorient them if necessary.
- Implement quality and equitable social follow-up through active listening, respect for professional secrecy, and consideration of the individual's situation.
- Demonstrate proactivity and flexibility in your work and in personal self-development.
- Ensure information sharing and collaboration with various departments.
- Welcome and support beneficiaries in their professional integration journey through individualized follow-up.
- Be the reference person for the applicant, actively involving them in the success of their project.
- Conduct a socio-professional assessment and/or skills assessment to identify needs, define specific objectives (literacy, basic or qualifying training, etc.), and propose adapted solutions.
- Develop and draft an individualized social integration project (PIIS).
- Perform regular individual evaluations and write a report on the progress of the implemented project.
- Provide psychosocial and material support: assistance with CV and cover letter writing, interview preparation, job search.
Profile
- You must hold a bachelor's degree as a social assistant.
- You have already worked or completed an internship in a public social service.
- You are familiar with the law concerning the right to social integration of 26/05/2002, the organic law of public social services of 8/07/1976, and the law on the assumption of responsibility for aid granted by public social services of 2/04/1965.
- You show a genuine interest in the topic of employment.
- You are capable of using common computer tools.
- You possess good analytical and synthesis skills and good communication abilities (verbal and written).
- You act in compliance with professional best practice standards and respect the confidentiality rules specific to your function.
- You are a good listener, demonstrate diplomacy and flexibility, and are solution-oriented.
- You are rigorous, autonomous, and dynamic.
- You master French and/or Dutch, both orally and in writing, and ideally hold the SELOR linguistic certificate or are willing to obtain it.
