Responsible for the well-being and development of security guards and supervisors, in collaboration with operations managers. Reports to the site security manager.
What you will do.
- First point of contact for personnel matters, guides employees in their development.
- Conducts performance and appraisal interviews.
- Develops improvement and growth plans.
- Manages absenteeism.
- Timely identifies issues and proactively engages in discussions.
- Contributes to job satisfaction, sustainable employability, and preventing staff turnover.
- Works closely with operations managers and frequently liaises with HR regarding absenteeism, development, and onboarding of new colleagues.
- Conducts job interviews and makes the appropriate selection.
Profile
- Strong and engaged people manager.
- Easily interacts at different levels.
- Maintains the balance between employee, organization, and client.
- Communicates clearly, works structured, and has an eye for both people and results.
What they ask
- Demonstrable HBO working and thinking level and at least a completed MBO 4 education in business or HR direction.
- Fluent command of Dutch and English (a plus).
- In possession of a B driving license.
- Experience in coaching and guiding a large team.
- Experience with HR topics such as absenteeism, career development, coaching, and sustainable employability.
- Experience in conducting development, performance, and absenteeism interviews.
- People-oriented approach, with the ability to act professionally when the situation requires it.
- Affinity with security or operational services.
