For a financial sector organization, a Java Developer is sought for the Daily Banking team.
- The role involves maintaining, developing, and testing Java backend services essential to their payment systems.
- These services are strongly integrated with external partners and internally developed applications.
- You will actively participate in a modernization program, migrating applications to a new cloud environment (Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS) using Terraform.
What you do
- Work closely with the Architect and Functional Analyst to design robust solutions that fit within the existing IT landscape.
- Integrate with external systems to ensure seamless transaction processing.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum team following the SAFe framework.
- Ensure quality by participating in the testing of delivered code.
- Continuously improve the codebase and processes through code reviews, automation, and the implementation of best practices.

- Strong technical knowledge with a customer-focused perspective.

What they ask
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Azure.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
Nice-to-haves.
- Knowledge of financial systems and integration platforms.
