Seeking experienced Coating Inspectors to support a major monopile coatings project in the area.
- The role will focus on ensuring blasting, spraying, and protective coating activities are completed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
- This opportunity will suit professionals with a strong background in coating inspection, corrosion protection, surface preparation, and quality assurance.
What you do
- Inspect blasting and surface preparation activities.
- Verify surface cleanliness, profile measurements, and preparation standards.
- Monitor coating application works and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Carry out Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements and coating inspections.
- Perform environmental monitoring and maintain inspection records.
- Witness inspections, testing activities, and quality hold points.
- Review quality documentation and inspection reports.
- Raise non-conformance reports where required.
- Liaise with project management, supervisors, and client representatives.
- Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout all coating activities.
What they ask
- NACE Level III preferred.
- Equivalent qualifications considered (FROSIO III, ICorr, BGAS, etc.).
- Previous coating inspection experience within offshore wind, marine, heavy industrial, fabrication, or oil & gas sectors.
- Strong understanding of blasting, protective coatings, corrosion protection, and inspection methodologies.
- Experience working on large steel structures.
- Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and quality documentation.
- Strong reporting and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
