As a contract manager, you are responsible for the management and further development of a housing corporation's contract portfolio. You ensure that contracts optimally contribute to the organizational goals and that suppliers deliver what has been agreed upon. You are a connector who makes the difference between agreements on paper and performance in practice.
What you do
- At a strategic and tactical level, you oversee your own contract portfolio.
- You ensure that the maximum is extracted from multi-million contracts, in balance with the established budgets.
- You ensure that our suppliers comply with requirements, agreements, and KPIs.
- You explore the needs within the organization and translate our purchasing policy into a program of requirements and measurable KPIs.
- You develop supplier management and actively maintain contact with contract owners and suppliers.
- You advise on wishes, performance, and expectations when concluding, extending, and terminating contracts.
- You advise on procedures to monitor the deployment of contracts and ways to monitor performance.
- You evaluate contracts and are keen on opportunities to procure more services.
- Where necessary, you intervene or draw up an improvement plan.
- You report your findings back to management, contract owners, and suppliers.
- You carry out small purchasing assignments.
Profile
- HBO (higher professional education) level.
- Knowledge and experience with contract management, purchasing processes, and laws and regulations concerning purchasing and tendering.
- Knowledge of contract formation, negotiation, and advising stakeholders.
- Analytical, results-oriented, and flexible.
- Goal-oriented collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.
- Clear communication and ability to maintain control.
- Ability to persuade others of your ideas and solutions without losing sight of their interests.
- Meticulous and proactive.
Practical
- One-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
- Use of a pool car for project visits.
- 100% reimbursement of public transport travel expenses.
- Reimbursement for car or bicycle travel: €0.25 per kilometer up to a maximum of 100 km per day.
- Home working allowance of €2.45 per day.
- Reimbursement for home office setup of €500 every five years.

- Personal development budget of €900 per year (pro-rata for part-time work).
