Policy Officer Housing

You will temporarily support a team in the spatial and economic development of a municipal organization. Much has been achieved in recent years, and the organization aims to continue building with the same ambition.

What you will do.

• Co-responsible for drafting, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the Housing program, housing policy, and caravan site policy.
• Contribute to housing needs assessments to substantiate and update policy choices.
• Potentially adjust the housing construction program based on research results.
• Contribute to current social themes.
• Co-develop an integrated approach for migrant workers.
• Advise on visions, zoning plans, and procedures.
• Maintain internal and external contacts for matters related to the housing policy field.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties, such as housing corporations and regional authorities.
• Taking minutes at (regional) meetings may be part of the assignment.

What they ask

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience with policy advice and/or as a policy officer within a municipal organization.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience within the physical domain, spatial environment, and/or the Environmental Act, preferably in the field of housing.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience with external collaboration and contacts with stakeholders within the housing policy field.
• Completed and relevant HBO/bachelor's degree.

Preferences.

• Demonstrable connecting skills and ability to easily establish contacts and collaborate with internal and external parties.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Independent and proactive work attitude and takes initiative where necessary.
