You will be working for a family business that has been active in the transport sector for over a hundred years. With an extensive network of carriers and logistics partners, they daily arrange international FTL and LTL transports to various countries in Europe. Within the organization, there is an informal and collegial working atmosphere where collaboration, reliability, and quality are central.
You will work closely with a close-knit team of about fifteen colleagues and will have ample opportunity to further develop yourself within international logistics.
What you do
As a Freight Forwarder, you are responsible for organizing and coordinating international transports. You are the point of contact for clients, carriers, and colleagues, ensuring that every transport assignment runs smoothly from start to finish. You will gain a lot of independence and the opportunity to further develop yourself within international logistics. Your activities include:
- Organizing and coordinating international FTL and LTL transports
- Maintaining contact with clients, carriers, drivers, and internal departments
- Preparing and monitoring quotations, rates, and commercial agreements
- Processing and checking transport administration
- Contributing ideas for more efficient logistics solutions and customer-oriented improvements
- Supporting colleagues within the team
- Periodically participating in an on-call service in the evenings and weekends

What they ask You enjoy organizing, easily switch between different tasks, and maintain an overview even under time pressure. You are a strong communicator and always think in solutions. In addition:
- You have MBO 4 working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or commerce
- You have an affinity with transport, forwarding, and international logistics; experience is a plus
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages
- You work accurately and have a commercial mindset
- You can switch quickly and remain calm in a dynamic work environment
