This assignment involves a role within a care organization at a modern residential location with 40 apartments, divided into five living groups. Each floor has its own dynamic. You will guide adults with a mild intellectual disability, including aging residents. The approach is based on experience-oriented care and Active Support, always focusing on what someone can do.
Together with colleagues, family, volunteers, and the neighborhood, you ensure that residents maintain as much control over their own lives as possible.
What you do
- You guide residents in daily life and provide support with ADL (Activities of Daily Living) where necessary.
- You encourage residents to develop talents and maintain skills.
- You offer peace, structure, and safety, tailored to each resident.
- You collaborate with family, colleagues, and the network surrounding the resident.
- You identify changes, report carefully, and contribute to good care.
