An educational institution is looking for a practical lecturer/lecturer in road construction for the Construction Site Organization Associate Degree program. You will work in an enthusiastic team of 9 lecturers and educational support colleagues, guiding approximately 160 students daily.
What you will do.
- Conduct educational activities for courses such as Road Construction Execution Practice 2 and Road Construction 2
- Develop new study material
- Evaluate students
- Contribute to the quality of the program
- Further develop yourself professionally and didactically
- Provide information activities
- Establish contacts with the professional field
- Guide students in the technical aspects of road constructions, asphalt, concrete, and paving works, quality controls, and site supervision
- Translate knowledge of plans, quantity surveys, sewage plans, and Standard Specification 250 into realistic practical cases and exercises
- Bring current industry expertise into education through practical examples of road construction planning, organization

What they ask
- Preferably 5 years of relevant professional experience in road construction
- Experience with SB250, quality control, measurements, and execution of road works is necessary
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably Bachelor of Construction, professional Bachelor in a related construction technical field, Master in Industrial Sciences or Engineering Sciences: Civil Engineering, or Civil or Industrial Engineer with specialization in infrastructure, road, and hydraulic engineering
- Meet the language requirements of the teaching language (CEFR level C1)
- Proficiency in the administrative language Dutch (CEFR level B2) or commitment to a Dutch integration trajectory

- A pedagogical qualification is a plus
