Network specialist
Within a Network Datacenter Services department, an experienced network administrator with knowledge and experience in a multi-tenant datacenter environment is sought. You will be jointly responsible for the management and implementation of changes on various platforms. You will work within a complex environment that serves various government agencies. The organization has both an Enterprise and a Service Provider role.
What you will do.
- Create, delete, and modify load balancer VIPs, DNS records, and proxy policy rules
- Perform standard operational activities such as checking backups
- Automate certain tasks
- Monitor and handle 3rd line incidents
- Prepare any necessary change requests
- Be deployable within project, delivery, or problem-solving teams
- Contribute to thinking about the current team strategy and highlight potential areas for improvement

- Able to analyze and troubleshoot 3rd line incidents and problems
What they ask
- Fully CCNA and/or CCNP certified (certificates may be expired)
Preferences.
- Experience within a Service Provider environment or in a Multi-tenant Datacenter
- Extensive experience with the following:
- Infoblox
- Fortiproxy
- SSL/TLS
- F5
- Cisco ACI
- Experience in network automation, at least based on Ansible and GIT
- Demonstrable experience with:
- Cisco Firewalling (ASA and FTD)
- Fortinet Firewalling
- Experience with:
- Monitoring tools (HP, NNMI)
- Central management (Cisco FMC and Fortimanager)
- Splunk
