This care organization is looking for a vigilant night service for a care facility. The facility consists of one building with four groups, where a total of 22 people with intensive care needs (severe multiple disabilities / elderly people with intellectual and physical disabilities) reside. Support is provided based on the vision of the aging resident and according to the experience-oriented care methodology.
This means that each person's care needs, possibilities, and level are considered to enable them to function as fully as possible. Internal day activities are available.
What you will do.
- Conduct rounds and provide care moments
- Interpret and respond to sounds from the listening system
- Perform reserved medical procedures
- Administer medication
- Perform light household tasks, such as emptying the dishwasher, folding and ironing laundry
- Report and transfer information to the day shift
Profile
You are a positive and open person who works proactively, shows courage, and has a healthy sense of humor. The resident is central, and you know how to appropriately anticipate restlessness or tension during the night. You enjoy a challenge, are not easily flustered, dare to make independent decisions, and feel responsible. You enjoy performing physical care tasks, can deal with dementia, and can empathize with the residents' world.
You are familiar with epilepsy and diabetes or willing to receive further training in these areas. You understand the importance of medication safety and work accurately.

- A completed MBO level 4 education (vocational secondary education) in the field of Care and Welfare
- Interest in and work experience with aging residents with (mild) intellectual disabilities and intensive care needs
- Trained in nursing technical procedures or willing to learn them
