As an Absence Case Manager, you play an important role in guiding managers and employees during challenging absence and reintegration processes within a healthcare organization. You contribute to a healthy work environment.
What you will do.
- Support and advise managers in guiding employees during absence and reintegration processes.
- Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure the right steps are taken at the right time.
- Direct complex situations, bring stakeholders together, and ensure agreements are met.
- Work closely with managers, employees, the company doctor, occupational health service, and other involved professionals.
- Coordinate long-term absence processes, advise on next steps, and monitor legal deadlines.
- Prepare and chair socio-medical consultations.
- Collaborate with HR Advisory and HR Support on topics such as absence prevention, vitality, and sustainable employability.
- Translate absence figures into insights, identify developments, and provide well-founded advice.
- Work within a small specialized team.
Profile
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, for example in HRM, supplemented with a training or specialization in Absence Case Management.
- Experience with absence guidance and current knowledge of the Wet verbetering poortwachter (Gatekeeper Improvement Act) and relevant legal aspects related to absence.
- Strong advisory skills and persuasiveness.
- An analytical perspective combined with a practical, solution-oriented approach.
- Proactive work attitude and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Affinity with data and analyses.
- You are a firm and approachable discussion partner who easily switches between different interests.
- You are a Christian (Protestant, Catholic, etc.) and can indicate what this means for you in your daily life and work.
- A positive Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
