You will develop your own podiatric consultations within a multidisciplinary practice.
- You will collaborate with colleagues and jointly guide patients.
What you do
- Provide podiatric foot care for ingrown toenails, calluses, and corns.
- Screen and monitor high-risk feet, with a focus on diabetic and oncological feet.
- Advise on daily foot care and footwear, and refer when necessary.
- Examine foot function and analyze gait patterns if complaints warrant it.
- Measure, monitor, and adjust podiatric insoles.
- Maintain patient files and coordinate care with physiotherapists, general practitioners, and other involved healthcare providers.
What they ask
- Experience with high-risk feet or willingness to specialize in this area.
- Medical foot care with a recognition pathway or willingness to follow this pathway.
- Professional Bachelor's degree in Orthopedics and Podiatry, or equivalent by experience.
- Very good knowledge of Dutch.
