You contribute to daily care in a healthcare institution.

You work in the bed center and transport patients.
You manage wheelchairs and patient-related materials.
You alternate between transporting patients, cleaning beds, and assisting in the bed center.
You transport materials, such as blood tubes, throughout the institution.
You help lift mattresses and check the functionality of beds.
You transport, together with a nurse, deceased patients to the mortuary.
Handy 'bed movers' are available for efficient patient transport.

What they ask

MBO level 3 diploma, preferably in logistics or facility management.
Good physical condition (physically demanding work, up to 17 km walking per day).
Hepatitis B vaccination or willingness to obtain it.
Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Preferences.

First aid diploma or (partial) certificate in life-saving actions, or willingness to obtain it.

Practical

You will work in a patient logistics department.
You transport patients to and from treatments.
You bring patient-related materials to the laboratory.
You have extensive contact with care units, medical administrative staff, and the team planner.
You work independently within a young and diverse team of approximately 55 colleagues (permanent and flexible staff).
A comprehensive onboarding program is provided, along with internal training opportunities and development discussions.
The department is currently open Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with plans for 24/7 operation in the future.
