Project Leader Buildings and Land

Responsible for the integral management of multiple projects in the field of municipal buildings and land.

• Ensuring the preparation, execution, and delivery of projects.
• Operating independently, taking ownership, and managing projects from start to finish within set frameworks.
• Technically strong, administratively and organizationally sensitive, and capable of operating firmly.
• Successful realization of projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed quality.
• Ensuring the technical quality of buildings and installations.
• Complete and careful project documentation and transfers.
• Timely and clear communication with the client and stakeholders.
• Professional and effective collaboration with internal and external parties.
• Project management including sustainability, renovation/expansion of various sports facilities, renovation/rebuilding of an emergency services station, sustainability of neighborhood buildings, process policy & implementation of an access control system, implementation of a checking system, and execution of multi-year maintenance plans.

What you will do.

• Independently lead real estate and building projects from the initiation phase through to completion.
• Prepare and monitor project plans (according to the PMC methodology).
• Coordinate design, tendering, and execution phases.
• Provide substantive guidance on technical quality, with specific attention to building-related installations.
• Manage and coordinate with external consultants, installers, and contractors.
• Monitor planning, budget, and quality.
• Identify and manage risks and deviations.
• Prepare decision-making and provide progress reports.
• Coordinate with internal colleagues, users, and other stakeholders.
• Check compliance with laws and regulations, standards, and municipal policy.

• Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
• Minimum of 5 years demonstrable work experience as a project leader in the field of building or real estate projects at a public institution.
• Demonstrable work experience with building-related installations, explicitly detailed in work experience.
• Demonstrable work experience with renovation and sustainability projects of municipal real estate.

Preferences.

• Demonstrable completed technical education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
• Minimum of 5 years demonstrable work experience as a project leader in the field of building or real estate projects at a government organization.
