Social Worker Assistant

We are looking for a social worker assistant within the Family and Social Home Help unit of a social organization, which manages 275 Family Helpers and 70 Social Home Helpers, supervised by a team of Social Workers.

What you will do.

  • Conduct initial request visits to beneficiaries (assess needs and establish an aid plan).
  • Conduct revision visits to beneficiaries (review the person's situation and adapt the aid plan).
  • Create schedules for Family Helpers and Social Home Helpers using specific software and make necessary modifications.
  • Provide telephone support at certain times of the week.
  • Organize team meetings for Family Helpers and Social Home Helpers.

  • You MUST hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in this role.
  • You possess a B driving license and a personal vehicle.

Desired.

  • Internship/work experience in a SAFA (Family and Elderly Aid Service), covering the tasks to be performed in the role, is an asset.
