Casemanager Sexual Violence Center

You are the pillar of support in vulnerable moments in someone's life.

  • You make a direct societal impact for victims of sexual violence.
  • You fulfill a unique pivotal role between care, assistance, and safety.
  • You work in a multidisciplinary network with specialized professionals.

What you do

  • You are the fixed point of contact for victims of sexual violence and the link between different disciplines (forensic, medical, and psychological).
  • You guide them from initial reception and coordinate the necessary care.
  • You maintain contact with involved aid workers.
  • Where possible, you provide psycho-education and advice, monitor complaints, and support in making/keeping appointments.
  • You engage other aid workers if necessary and ensure victims receive the support they need.
  • You monitor their recovery process and are involved in their guidance for at least four weeks.
  • You collaborate closely with various care, assistance, and safety organizations.
  • You provide initial reception and guidance to victims according to a specific protocol.
  • You conduct screenings using questionnaires.
  • You coordinate and organize appropriate medical, psychosocial, and legal support.
  • You participate in a progress meeting with chain partners to align policy.
  • You guide and motivate victims during the recovery process and support them in keeping appointments.

Profile

  • You can handle vulnerable and impactful situations well and radiate calm and trust.
  • You are a strong communicator, work carefully, and are able to act independently and in collaboration with different disciplines.
  • You have an eye for cultural diversity and remain involved, even when care avoidance threatens.
  • Completed HBO education as a care professional with demonstrable authorization and competence.
  • Knowledge of sexual violence, its consequences, and appropriate medical and psychosocial assistance, or willingness to acquire and develop this knowledge.
  • Knowledge of diagnostics, treatment, and the social map of relevant care and assistance organizations.
  • Experience with casemanagement, guidance, and collaboration within complex care networks.
  • Willingness to work on Fridays if necessary.

Practical

  • The team consists of five casemanagers.
  • Work is largely performed remotely, with one office day per week.
  • Participation in on-call services outside office hours (one week of on-call duty every 5 weeks).
  • Fixed day per week for phone duty during office hours (8:30-17:00).
  • Compensation for on-call services based on the CAR UWO.
  • Opportunities for professional development, periodic expert training, supervision meetings with a GZ-psychologist, and work guidance.
  • Onboarding process through a specialized academy.
