This role connects the customer with production. Planning can change throughout the day due to unexpected events such as additional trucks, transporter cancellations, or impending raw material shortages at the factory. As a planner, you are responsible for coordinating, deciding, and ensuring that planning runs smoothly, without having to ask for permission first.
What you will do.
- Continuously coordinate between customers, suppliers, and transporters, and determine the best approach.
- Negotiate competitive rates without compromising quality.
- Independently decide when planning needs to be adjusted, even under time pressure.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement them.
- Ensure that stakeholders feel everything is well organized.
Profile
- Able to work independently and remain calm when the day does not go as planned.
- Able to set priorities.
- Gains energy from unexpected situations requiring a quick solution.
- Proficient in English for regular international contact.
- Knowledge of German is a plus.
