As a nurse, you participate in care and ensure that the care process for residents runs smoothly, with the aim that they can stay here in a pleasant and independent manner. You will work within a residential care facility that offers apartments for the elderly and a special department for the elderly with intellectual disabilities, including day care activities.
What you will do.
- Be an example for your team and coach employees on the quality of their work
- Coordinate work processes within the department to optimize care
- Think proactively about improving policies within the facility
- Be alert to changes in clients' health and adapt care accordingly
- Be a recognizable face and point of contact for clients, relatives, and all involved disciplines
- Involve family members and others in the lives of residents
Profile
- BIG-registered MBO or HBO nurse
- Enjoys working with the elderly
- Excellent empathy and able to set own boundaries
- Helicopter view
- Positive attitude and thinks in possibilities
- Good at building relationships with residents
